Happy New Year! We're a few days into the year 2015, a few degrees colder here in New York and already obsessing over a few January floral (and non-floral) trends.
Anemones, Tulips and Peonies - imported from Chile! - are all the rage this month. Seriously, just looking at these flowers will brighten up your day. Fun fact: 88% of people agree that flowers can change your mood in a positive way. (source: www.aboutflowers.com)
Winter weddings and events in January do not disappoint. Many event floral arrangements are white, giving off a winter wonderland theme. There are candles and crystals to accompany the neutral-colored flowers and we see a lot of white birch branches, sometimes decorated with wireless LED twinkle lights.
Birch branches are also used to decorate a ceremony or entrance into a reception. The result actually looks magical.
Getting married this winter or hosting an event? Let us know how you're decorating (and congratulations!).
